CONVENTIONAL MEDICINE

    NEWS:
A distinct trend toward the integration of complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) therapies with the practice of conventional medicine is occuring. Hospitals are offering CAM therapies, health maintenance organizations (HMOs) are covering such therapies, a growing number of physicians use CAM therapies in their practices, insurance coverage for CAM therapies is increasing, and integrative medicine centers and clinics are being established, many with close ties to medical schools and teaching hospitals. How does a new therapy move from the idea stage to the practice stage? What is the extent of integration of CAM and conventional medicine? Why is such integration occurring? What approaches are being used to offer integrated services? This chapter explores these and other questions related to the integration of CAM and conventional medicine.

       ANALISIS:

In hospitals are introducing complementary and alternative medicine with the practice of the conventional medicine.

BIOMEDICINE

On the second term we will be studying biomedicine. this theme in general, sounds very boring but there are some things that atract me like health. It goes without saying that biomedicine is the future and if we pay attention it couls be very handy for our lives. I hope that in this term we will enjoy all the time we spend in scientific culture

AUTOEBALUATION

AUTOEVALUATION

Firstly, I wuold like to say that we have to improve our subject called scientific culture that I think that is a little bit boring for me. I have so many reasons for that like the content of the subject doesnt atracted me so much and I can say certainly that everybody of these class is very boring and no so much motivated with these.

Secondly, the eschange it isnt very well orginez because if we do eleanitza at first it seems that all eleanitza students will go to the eschange (Italy), but with the new law (you must pass all the exams except one) few of eleanitza students will go to them.

To end up, I dont like the subject at all but I think that I try to do all of my to put intereste in this subject. But so many times I cant pay so many atention for many reasons (the content is very boring, the las hours of classes...).

EVOLUTION OF SPECIES

In XVII. Century science (provement theries) and religion (all is god) were two different ideas. Lamarck was the religious one and Darwin the scientific one.

Acording to the religion, the creationism, the fist humans were Adan and Eva who were created by god in a type of paradise (natural atmosphere). The religion also says that Noe who was noticed about a hurricane built a ship and he entered a male and a female of each species of animals to survive.

Lamarck was born in France 1th August in 1744 and he died in 18th December in 1829. He develop a theory called lamarckism, which consist on the evolution of species but all relationated with god (religion). In conclusion of this theory, god did everything (changed, created...). For example, the giraffe couldnt eat the leaves of the highest trees so god give it a longer neck to eat and survive. The same happens

To end up we have a short video:

MARIA MONTESSORI

Montessori was born on August 31, 1870 in Chiaravalle, Italy. She was a physician  and also pedagogy woman. Her educational method is in use today in some public and private schools throughout the world.

From 1896 to 1901, Montessori worked with and researched so-called "phrenasthenic", children experiencing some form of mental retardation, illness, or disability. She also began to travel, study, speak, and publish nationally and internationally, coming to prominence as an advocate for women's rights and education for mentally disabled children.

The Montessori family moved to Florence in 1873 and then to Rome in 1875 because of her father's work. Montessori entered a public elementary school at the age of 6 in 1876. Her early school record was "not particularly noteworthy",  although she was awarded certificates for good behaviour in the 1st grade and for "lavori donneschi", or "women's work", the next year.

The design team behind the Bloodhound Super-Sonic Car has put its near-complete vehicle on show in London.
this article is about a very fast car. Some 8,000 people are expected to come and view it in Canary Wharf on Friday and Saturday.
Bloodhound has been built to smash the current land speed record of 763mph (1,228km/h) set by another British car, Thrust SSC, in 1997.
The new machine is due to start running next year on a special track that has been prepared for it in South Africa.
The aim at first will be to do 800mph (1,287km/h). But the goal eventually is to push the record above 1,000mph (1,610km/h). This could happen in 2017.
It has taken eight years of research, design and manufacturing to get to this stage. I chose this article because I am very interested in very fast and original cars. this car will influence in technology, Fisk and economical aspects, for example if this car is for sale, you mustn’t go in our rides because is so fast so anyone will buy it.

Hi friends! This blog will have a new use. I will use it for a subject, scientific culture. I'm sure that you will like it! I chose this subject because I was forced to do it, and because I am interested on it.
